ADDITIONAL IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

One additional form of secondary identification showing the hirers name and current home address is required.

PAYMENT

Payment in full is required before departure. Cheques will only be accepted with a valid bankers card. A deposit is required on all vehicles.

DEPOSITS

A deposit of £100 will be required from the Hirer for cars and vans, £100 for MPVs (People Carriers) and minibuses and £250 for 7.5 tonne trucks. The deposit will be held until such time that we are satisfied that the vehicle has been returned in a satisfactory condition.

OVERSEAS USE

Overseas use is permitted by arrangement, provided additional insurance and AA cover is aquired.

HIRE PERIOD

All hires are for a 24 Hour period. A charge of £10.00 for the first half hour will be made for late returns. Thereafter, the hirer will be charged the full daily rate.

FUEL

Any shortage of fuel on return of the vehicle will be charged at £1.18 (one pound and eighteen pence) per litre. No fuel refunds will be given.

PARKING TICKET PAYMENTS AND CONGESTION CHARGES

Parking ticket payments and congestion charges are the responsibility of the Hirer and should be dealt with within the requested statutory period. Tickets received after this period at our office will be returned and a £10 (ten pounds) administration fee will be charged.

INFORMATION

The Hirer is responsible for the good upkeep of the vehicle during the hire period and, in particular, complying with The Road Traffic Acts and other legislation. The hirer is responsible for all overhead, tyre, windscreen and upholstery damage. If the period of hire exceeds 3 days the Hirer is responsible for checking oil and water levels and making good. The Hirer should ensure that the vehicle is parked carefully so as to avoid willful damage and door-opening dents.

MILEAGE

There is a daily limit of two hundred miles, any additional mileage will be charged at 10p (ten pence) per mile and will be deducted from the deposit.
